Exchange / Credit Policy:

CMG Auto Parts offer 14 days Standard Warranty for all used and second hand parts (unless otherwise stated). These warranty terms are not transferable and original invoices are required for proof of purchase. No Return or exchange is accepted outside of 14 days of invoice date.

1. All exchanges/ credits or refunds must be accompanied by a receipt for proof of purchase
2. Body parts as inspected (in person, pictures, video)
3. A 20% handling charge will be incurred for parts “No longer required”. Part returns must be accompanied by the invoice, receipt and tag.
4. Trade customers who claimed lost the job or ordered wrong, store credit only.
5. Electrical goods – no refund or credit.
6. We have the right to exchange it for the correct part if you ordered wrong, but no refund for ” Change of mind” or “Make a Wrong Choice” or cut sections or specially ordered parts.
7. Part to be returned must be in it’s original condition or in a resalable condition.

Silver Warranty: 3 Months or 5,000kms from the invoice date, whichever occurs first

Engines are warranted against smoking, knocking and excessive oil usage, heat tabs are fitted to all engines and it is a condition of this warranty that your radiator be cleaned thoroughly, also heater and radiator hoses including fan belts be checked and replaced if necessary.

1. All Installation must be completed by qualified mechanics and related parameters must be provided when make a claim. Warranty void for improper installation or application or failing to properly maintain.
2. Engines are sold as Long Bare, Accessories and manifolds if fitted are not guaranteed to be correct for your model and are not warranted. Closely examine before installation and swap parts from your original engine where necessary.
3. Front & rear crank seals & water pump to be replaced or warranty void.
4. Diesel engines will need injectors and pump to be serviced or warranty void.
5. Any damages caused by timing belt and water pump and insufficient fluids or oil are not covered.
6. All transmissions must be fitted by qualified transmission repairers with a new filter kit and front seal, transmission cooler and lines flushed. Re-programming is not covered. The transmission warranty will be void if this is not carried out.
7. Broken gears on differentials and gearboxes are excluded from warranty.
8. Minor oil leaks are not under warranty.
9. Warranty void for accident damage, overloading or misuse, includes components used in performance, competition, off road or race applications.
10. In the event of any dispute, a mutually acceptable third party opinion may be obtained to adjudicate on the claim.
11. All change over units must be returned within 14 days of invoice date or warranty void.
12. The warranty offered on the front of the invoice and should be read in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions on this page.

Limited liability

CMG Auto Parts will not be held for any damages, loss, delay, non-delivery or for any other cause ceases upon release of goods to authorised third party carriers. We do not insure goods in transport, and freight is at customer’s cost.We will not be responsible for any consequential loss or damage, labour cost , loss of income or demurrage or downtime because of the failure of the part sold. No allowance is made for transportation, freight, lost or damages in transit.We will not be held responsible for any verbal or implied representation. Limited liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of goods sale.
